Scarlett has always had an interest in the field of sciences and saw nursing as a pathway to grow professionally by completing her Practical Nursing program at Georgian college in Barrie, Ontario. Once she graduated and received her license to practice with The College of Nurses of Ontario, she began her nursing career in long term care. Scarlett then moved on to working at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario on the Respiratory Unit with COVID patients during the pandemic. She is one of our true hero’s who put her community’s needs first.

Scarlett gained a great deal of knowledge and skills while working on an acute unit during such a challenging time in our health care system, however, she knew she always wanted to dedicate her knowledge in nursing by obtaining post graduate education in foot and lower limb care, biomechanics, therapeutic modalities, injury and fall prevention, infection control, wound care and the specialty of skin and nail conditions and diseases. Her grandfather was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy and Charcot Marie Tooth Disease therefore she has always wanted to help those impacted by diabetes and foot and lower limb conditions at the community level. Remaining active and mobile is a critical part of one’s health and wellness, she provides evidence-based solutions to her clients with a focus on preventative nursing care, while contributing to the process of healing and improving mobility.

Scarlett continues to advance her knowledge and skills by acquiring ongoing post graduate education consistent with her colleges best practice requirements offering effective, therapeutic, and gentle treatments at Feet for Life.

Scarlett ensures all her clients feel comfortable and informed with her warm and welcoming smile and positive attitude. She is excited to meet those in our community requiring her specialized medical foot and lower limb care addressing each of her client’s individual health concerns to ensure they live their best lives comfortably and pain free.
